Ukrainian partners

 

Partners of the "Ukraine - Norway" project for “retraining and social adaptation of the retired military personnel and their family members” are the Universities and public organizations of the veterans of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other security agencies.

 

Coordination of all international projects in the field of social adaptation in Ukraine is implemented by the Department of social and professional adaptation of former military personnel of the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine. In accordance with the Presidential Decree of April 6, 2011 №389 / 2011 approved the Regulation "On the Ministry of Social Policy." In the list of tasks to the Ministry, in 9 out of 12 positions, it is said: "The formation and implementation of state policy on social and professional adaptation of servicemen, retired or resigned, as well as those subject to dismissal in connection with the reform of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other military formations ".

 

Ministry of Social Policy in accordance with the assigned tasks (p. 48 Tasks) provides social and professional adaptation of servicemen, retired or resigned, as well as those subject to dismissal in connection with the reform of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other military formations.

Universities - partners of the project in Ukraine.

According to the Agreement between the NORD University and the IFSA on the implementation of the project UKR - 14/0033 “Retraining and social adaptation of military officers and their family members in Ukraine” from 04.20.2015. The geography of the project covers 14 cities of Ukraine:


Kyiv, Odesa, Mykolayiv, Vinnytsia, Ternopil, Chortkiv, Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Lutsk, Chernivtsi, Kirovohrad, Chernihiv, Melitopol, Zaporizhzhia.


The number of cities where the project is implemented, the universities and NGOs engaged in the project implementation  in the region may vary each semester, depending on the circumstances, urgency of the problem in the certain regions, capabilities of the partners to perform high-quality training in the specialties in demand at the labor market and upon prior coordination with IFSA and the NORD University.

Interacting with other NGOs, command of military units on the ground, the city administrations, partner organizations do a great job related with the formation of groups of project participants, promoting employment, social - psychological adaptation of the officers and their family members. In addition, NGOs continue to work with project participants after the completion of retraining course.
