The first Saturday of June 2017 will remain forever in the history of Kropivnitsky. That very day our city got the status of a record-breaking city in the Book of Records of Ukraine. The initiator and organizer of the event is the famous artist and collector Igor Shatochin. Together with colleagues and authors of the collections: Igor Chatochin, Vitaliy Logov, Alexander and Sergey Kuts, Yevgeny Vasilevsky, Vadim Leftor and Tatiana Onul, Vadim Kashchenko, Sergei Vorona, set the goal to glorify our city in addition to establishing personal records.

The organizers of this historic image event were supported by the head of the NAU Aircraft Academy, honorary citizen of the city Sergey Nedilko. And among the collectors who set the record was Sergei Vorona, a graduate of the courses on social adaptation of retired troops and members of their families under the project "Ukraine-Norway". He presented an extremely interesting collection of kerosene lamps of the 19th and 20th centuries. Among them there were both domestic and railway, and street, and mining. For the collected collection he received a diploma of the national project "Book of Records of Ukraine" "For the largest collection of kerosene lamps of the 19-20 th century." The number of exhibits in its collection is 150 units.

In addition, together with his colleagues, he contributed to the great work of affirming the image of our city as a creative, innovative space, where they live and create talented and vibrant personalities.

Due to the fact that the Air Academy at the same time recorded 11 records of Ukraine, our city and each participant of the event became a participant in the 12th record. The Kropyvnitsky community received a diploma as a record-breaking city in the number of concurrently set records.

In communicating with guests, Sergei Vorona has repeatedly heard suggestions on the opening of a cafe, decorated in an unusual and original style such as "Gaseous lamp" in Lviv. However, Sergey has another dream - to create a real lamp museum. "I want everyone to have the opportunity to see the collection, the cafe format does not allow it," he said.

Among other records of Ukraine recorded along with the largest collection of kerosene lamps:

Vitaly Logov: Category "Collections" - the largest collection of stand models painted with brushes without the use of an airbrush. The number of models is 150 units.

Father and son Alexander and Sergey Kuts. Category "Collections" - the largest collection of New Year postcards for the period from 1970-2017. The number of postcards is 875 units.

Eugene Vasilevsky. The category "Collections" is the largest collection of metalloplastics, these exhibits are made of spare parts of various aggregates, mechanisms and others. The number of exhibits is 260 units.

The couple are Vadim Leftoor and Tatiana Onul. Category "Collections" - the largest collection of dolls, non-walks ("girls") for the period from 1965-2017 years. The number of exhibits is 65 units.

Vadim Kaschenko. The category "Collections" is the largest collection of faleristics (badges, signs, medals, etc.) on a medical topic. The number of exhibits is 1200 units.

Vadim Kaschenko. The category "Sport for the first time" is the only regional 30 times champion of the Kirovograd region with table tennis.

Igor Shatochin The category "Art" is the only artist in Ukraine who owns an international patent patent for discoveries in the field of art. The "Image of Christ through the Fragments of His Body" patent was issued in 2000 by the League for the Advancement of Science and Education, a UNESCO Working Member at the United Nations.

Igor Shatochin Category "Art" - the author of the only in Ukraine monument to the fallen soldiers "Freight 200". The monument was made in the city of Kirovohrad and installed in Kherson in 2009 on the territory of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, the Kyiv Patriarchate.
