On May 31, 2017 in the Marble Hall of the University there took place a ceremony of awarding certificates to the participants of the courses for the military retired personnel and their families during the spring semester trained at the Faculty of Economics of Chernivtsi National University” in the specialty of “Organization and management of business activities."
The group of 30 military personnel and their family members, including 17 ATO participants, received the certificates of retraining from Chernivtsi National University and Nord University (Bodo, Norway).
The graduates were greeted by the university rector Professor Stepan Melnychuk, IFSA President Volodymyr Rubtsov, dean of the Faculty of Economics Associate Professor Ruslan Biloskurskyy. The Ambassador of Norway to Ukraine Ole T. Horpestad addressed the graduates from the screen with a specially recorded video. The group leader Lyudmila Tkachuk and one of the most active participants - Eugene Marusyk who is also an ATO participant, addressed the audience and told their impressions and thanks to the organizers and the teachers of the University.
During three months of training the project participants were able to gain the necessary knowledge of basic economic disciplines as the basis of entrepreneurship and business planning, conduct of their own business, tax system, information technology in business, the practical aspects of accounting and auditing, marketing and PR, HR, career planning and placement technology, as well as to listen to a lecture on modern business aspects of guest lecturers from Nord University. In addition, the project participants organized a number of psychological trainings and seminars, trainings soon conducting their own business.
In the course of training the students were provided with favorable conditions for the acquisition of new contacts, information sources and opportunities to successfully resolve all the issues related to the transition from military to civilian life.
This project in Chernivtsi National University was carried out in partnership with the Norwegian Nord University, with organizational support of the International Charitable Foundation "International Foundation for Social Adaptation" financed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Norway.
