Psychological assistance and legal adaptation, as well as employment assistance, was provided by the NGO "Chernihiv European", which will accompany the listeners for at least another year after their participation in the project. The graduates received joint diplomas of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Defense of Norway, joint certificates of Nord University (Norway) and ChNTU (Ukraine) and the certificates of the ChNTU.
Norway was represented by the Military Attaché of Norway in Ukraine, Captain 2nd Rank Hans Petter Midttun with his wife Kiersti Midttun and the assistant of the Military Attaché of Norway in Ukraine, Iryna Skobenko. IFSA was represented by the IFSA President Volodymyr Rubtsov and the head of the PR department Olha Filina.
The graduation ceremony traditionally began with the performance of the Norwegian and Ukrainian anthems. Those present were greeted by the university rector, Serhiy Shkarlet who congratulated the graduates, wished them successful self-realization and assured that the doors of the university are always open for them. Hans Petter Midtun also congratulated the project participants, expressed his warm wishes and support for the Ukrainians, stressing that at this difficult time for the country the main value is people who are ready to develop, change, achieve success and develop not only themselves but also Ukraine. Volodymyr Rubtsov expressed his gratitude to former servicemen and their families for their contribution to the past and wished them great success in the future. Positive and warm emotions of all the participants and guests were also evoked by the presentation showing the joint path of both groups from the first interviews to the graduation. Each participant was able to find himself/herself in the photo, remember classes, trainings, group tours, holidays, which were celebrated in groups. The following presentation showed all the guests new projects of the graduates, over which they worked during the entire period of retraining (web sites and culinary masterpieces). A festive atmosphere was added by the student creative team of the university, who performed their musical performances. To the loud applause of the project participants the group teachers and the curators of the groups were awarded joint certificates from the IFSA and the ChNTU.
After the official part of the event was over, all those present were invited to a festive reception, during which the graduates took turns sharing their impressions of participating in the project. There were expressed the words of gratitude to the university, NGO, project coordinators and, of course, warm words of gratitude to the constant and faithful friend and partner of Ukraine - Norway.
