On May 18 Ukraine-Norway Project graduation ceremony in Chernihiv took place

On May 18 in Chernihiv took place the graduation ceremony on 2018 spring semester of Ukraine-Norway Project. Norwegian and Ukrainian diplomas received two groups of participants in total number of 71 persons: 31 – on profession: “Entrepreneurship in tourism and restaurant business” and 40 – on profession “Entrepreneurship in recreational activities”.  Chernihiv National University of Technology is responsible for participants’ professional development. Events for social adaptation (physiological and legal adaptation, employment assistance) are ensured by non-governmental organization “Chernihiv European”, which assists to participants during a year after their graduation.

The following representatives of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine participated to the ceremony: Director of the Department of Military Education, Science, Social and Humanitarian Policy, Major General Mr. Mykola Sadovskiy and Head of the Division for Social Policy of the Department of Military Education, Science, Social and Humanitarian Policy Mr. Serhiy Kucherenko. IFSA was represented by Fund`s President Mr. Vladimir Rubtsov and Project Coordinator Ms. Olga Filina.

After traditional anthems of Norway and Ukraine the official part started by Mr. Serhiy Shkarlet, President of Chernihiv National University of Technology, with warmest congratulations to the graduates. Guests of the event also addressed the participants with congratulations and sincere regards. After awarding diplomas, the guests were introduced with two video-presentations reminding on two groups trainings and events along all the semester. The second video-presentation was developed at the graduates’ discretion. President of Chernihiv National University of Technology also awarded certificates of participation to international project to the lecturers, trainers and persons who personally contributed to successful implementation of the project during 2018 spring semester. Groups` Presidents conveyed sincere thanks to Project organizers. 

After the official ceremony all the guests were invited to celebratory reception.
