A new important step in establishing an effective partnership between the project “Norway – Ukraine” and the Ministry for Veterans Affairs of Ukraine has been taken in Kropyvnytskyi – a Memorandum of Cooperation has been signed to establish a Center for Psychological and Social Adaptation of Veterans, Servicemen and representatives of the security and defense sector, their families and the families of the victims of “Veterans’ space of Kirovograd region”.

On September 18, as part of the celebrations on the occasion of the beginning of the autumn semester of professional retraining courses for servicemen, veterans and members of their families in Ukraine, the MEMORANDUM was signed on cooperation in establishing the Center for Psychological and Social Adaptation of Veterans, Servicemen and representatives of the security and defense sector, their families and the families of the victims of “Veterans’ space of Kirovograd region”.
The signatories of the Memorandum are: the Flight Academy of the National Aviation University represented by the Head of the Flight Academy Nedilko Serhiy Mykolayovych, Ministry for Veterans Affairs of Ukraine represented by Deputy Ministry for European Integration Ilyashenko Oleksiy Volodymyrovych (Ministry for Veterans Affairs was represented by Gurina Lyudmyla Vasylivna, the head of section in Kirovograd region of the Ministry for Veterans Affairs of Ukraine), the Municipal Institution “Regional Resource Center for Assistance to Participants in the Anti – Terrorist Operation and Internally Displaced Persons” represented by Director Kolinko Viktor Oleksiyovych, NGO “Club of Ukrainian – Norwegian Cooperation” represented by Romanko Iryna Romanivna, NGO "European Way 4.0" represented by Kovaliova Olena Serhiivna, NGO “United Family of Kropyvnytskyi” represented by Stepanok Olena Valentynivna, NGO “Kirovograd District Organization of Defenders of Homeland “Fighting Brotherhood” in the person of Sushko Volodymyr Pavlovych, NGO “Center for Medical and Psychological Rehabilitation “KOMPAS” in the person of Kolieva Anna Mykhailivna.
The document states that in order to carry out the constructive cooperation, the Parties agreed on the cooperation and partnership, which aims to establish the Center on the basis of LA NAU as a communication platform between the governmental and non – governmental institution and veterans, by providing a base and use of intellectual and material resources of the institution and to join the efforts to create conditions for successful psycho – social adaptation of war veterans and persons covered by the Law of Ukraine” On the status of war veterans, guarantees of their social protection”, families of the victims and their return to the active social life”.
