The first IFSA meeting with the new Norwegian Ambassador to Ukraine took place


On September 16, the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Kyiv hosted the first meeting of the President of the International Foundation for Social Adaptation Volodymyr Rubtsov with the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Norway to Ukraine Erik Svedal.  The meeting was attended by Defense Attaché, Lt. Col. Boye Garder Lillerud, project Coordinator at the Embassy of the Kingdom of Norway in Ukraine Dmytro Loza, "Norway-Ukraine" project Coordinator at IFSA, Olga Filina.  IFSA representatives narrowly spoke about the details, results and prospects of the "Norway-Ukraine" project, the work status on the cooperation with the government agencies of Ukraine to integrate the project into the state system of retraining and social adaptation of servicemen, veterans, their families’ members and the families of victims.  The representatives of the Embassy noted the importance of signing the Memorandum of Cooperation between IFSA and the Ministry for Veterans Affairs of Ukraine on September 15.  In the near future, it is planned to hold the meeting with the representatives of the Embassy to agree on a plan for cooperation on the project.  We thank the Embassy of Norway for the positive and constructive meeting.
